Where is Alice House?

Alice House is the closest holiday home to the most important tourist attractions in Ypres. It is located at Vandenpeereboomplein 49 in Ieper

From the dining room, the living room and two of the three double bedrooms, you'll have a direct view of the Saint-Martin Cathedral, the St.-Georges Memorial Church, the Cloth Hall with the Belfry Tower and In Flanders Field Museum. Like Alice House, they're all located on the same central square. Don't worry, the church bells don't ring during the night, so you'll still have a quit night!

Get freshly baked bread or French croissants from the bakery and some locally sourced artisan meat (gluten-free & biologic) from a well-known authentic butcher. They are all located within 100 yards , just like a general grocery store.

There's a range of pubs and a variety of restaurants within walking distance , which cater for most culinary wants, whether you fancy a gourmet meal, Chinese take away or a quick bite to eat.

How Convenient

There is parking just in front of Alice House, which is a paid parking during the day, except on Sundays. Every car is entitled to half an hour of free parking each day. So handy to unload your luggage!

Just behind Alice House, there is a big parking lot which is 24 hours free parking . It's just a minute walking. Do you know it's actually the only one left free parking lot in Ypres within the city center?

If you want to reach out a bit further, then you can visit pictoresque medieval Bruges or the battlefields of the Somme. Bruges is only 45 minutes drive and the Somme is less than 2 hours. Alice House is just in between, so it's the ideal home base spot.
